How to create your account and log in

Once you have created your account, you can enrol on a course.

Enrolling means adding a course to your Citizens Academy account so that you can access the lessons and learning materials.

Finding a course

You may find courses in different ways. Some courses may appear in the course catalogue, while others may be shared with you through a direct link from Citizens Academy.

When you open a course page, you will usually see information about the course, including the title, description and what you will learn.

Enrolling on the course

To enrol, select the "Enrol Now" button on the course page. This may say something like:

Some courses may be free. Others may require payment.

Follow the instructions on screen. Once your enrolment is complete, the course should be added to your learning account.

After you enrol

After enrolling, you should be able to open the course and begin learning.

You may also be able to find the course later in your Learner Hub or learning library.

If you cannot see your course

If you enrolled but cannot find your course, check that you are logged in using the same email address you used when enrolling.

If the course was provided through a private link, check that you used the correct link.

If you are still unsure, contact Citizens Academy and include your name, email address and the course you are trying to access.

Key message

Enrolling adds the course to your account. Once enrolled, you can return to the course whenever you need to continue learning.
